Vinyl flooring to be fitted in library

Vinyl flooring is to be included in a renovation of a US library.
The Geraldine Humphries Cultural Centre in Liberty, Texas, will be closed for three weeks while the vinyl flooring is installed, complete with the other ongoing work, reports the Vindicator.
Vinyl flooring will be installed throughout the upstairs of the building, which will be mainly used for storage.
A new working area for staff will also be included upstairs, along with a large conference room and an office for the librarians.
The biggest part of the renovation work involves ripping down a wall in order to make room for the building's expansion.
Another building choosing to have vinyl flooring installed is Bret Harte Union High School in California.
District superintendent Mike Chimente said the vinyl flooring tiles would be fitted by contractors.
He said: "I think the kids are really going to enjoy this space. Architecturally, it's a pretty cool design with the round walls."
