Vinyl flooring installed in new school building

Vinyl flooring is being put down in a new school building as contractors add the finishing touches to the facility.
The 7,000 sq m building will be used for a variety of purposes at Bret Harte Union High School once it is complete, from student dances to community events.
But its main purpose is as an indoor eating area for students who attend the school.
Vinyl composite tile flooring has been chosen as the surface for the building's interior and the material is being installed this week, reports the Union Democrat.
Mike Chimente, Bret Harte District superintendent, said he was pleased with how the project was progressing.
"It's almost done," he stated. "I think the kids are really going to enjoy this space."
Last week, the Buffalo News reported that vinyl flooring had also been installed at the home of Joe and Janice Tobolski, who chose the surface as part of renovation work on their kitchen.
