Vinyl flooring features in renovated home

Vinyl flooring was chosen by one family to replace their old flooring in their newly-renovated home.

Writing for the Great Falls Tribune, columnist Amy Joyner reported on the story of the Moore family, who enshrined the memories of lost loved ones in their Cut Bank residence.

Among the major changes to their home was "breaking out" the living room wall in order to extend the area and provide a way outside to make Lonnie Moore's outdoor workspace more accessible.

"[Mr] Moore wanted a small vanity and sink on the vinyl flooring directly inside the main entry to provide a place to clean up after a hard day's work," said Ms Joyner.

However, despite the new living room boasting a much more welcoming profile, Mr Moore concedes that he should have planned ahead and considered how the roofline of the addition would meet that of the house.

A House-Extension.co.uk guide suggests that homeowners purchase an insurance-backed guarantee to remove some of the risks posed by renovation.
