Wood floors used in luxury trailers

Wood flooring has been used to great effect in a new range of luxury trailers in America.

The high-end trailers from Great West Trailer and Truck include a range of expensive features including hardwood cabinets, expansive kitchens with convection ovens and spacious bedrooms, the Fort Morgan Times reports.

Owner of the luxury trailer supplier Josh Motley claimed his "living quarters" trailers provide an important space for people who spend a lot of time on the road.

"They're basically rolling homes," he said. "It's important that [people living on the road] have a home."

Other features of the high-end trailers include marble counters, hardwood floors, surround sound and fireplaces. They can sell at prices ranging from $30,000 to $250,000 (£18,900 to £157,600).

In a recent Helium article, columnist Denise Henderson promoted the benefits of wood flooring and noted that they are especially easy to clean when compared with other materials such as carpet.
