Wood flooring 'just what the buyers are looking for'
Wood flooring has helped to get one property sold in a timely manner.
National Post columnist Connie Adair reported on a Canadian property, which was exclusively listed and purchased after two days of being available.
She spoke to listing consultant for the home Caroline Bokar, who claimed that real estate agents are increasingly turning to networking as a way to track down the right houses for their buyers.
Ms Bokar claimed that "this house was just what the buyers were looking for" and made particular note of its wood flooring and the "abundance of natural light".
The property's double closet foyer, which is adorned with limestone flooring, was also hailed - as was its gas fireplace and the living room's "recessed" lights.
InJersey.com recently reported on a "hot" property in the Madison area, whose wood flooring was put forward as one of its key features - in addition to its secluded location.
