Wood flooring features in top restaurant

Wood flooring serves as the centrepiece for one top Arizona restaurant.

A new guide in the East Valley Tribune looks at the best restaurants in the Gilbert area and highlights the Gilbert House Restaurant, renowned for its "cottage" look and hearty country-style fare.

"With weathered wood flooring [Gilbert House] offers sleepy-heads a cozy place to start the day. The typical country kitchen menu offers fluffy hotcakes [and] delicious eggs Benedict," said the guide.

It went on to promote the restaurant's delicious French toast and highlight the venue's affordable prices.

Other restaurants recommended by the guide include Joe's Real BBQ, which provides affordable and tasty treats in the form of smoked meats and savoury side dishes.

In a recent Springfield News-Sun article, columnist Samantha Sommer reported on the story of Jodi Wood, who was the first person in the area to take up residence in a newly-overhauled home featuring wood floors.
