Wood flooring features in Colin Farrell's new house

Wood flooring has been noted as a feature of a new property purchased by Hollywood star Colin Farrell.

A recent Shelter Pop article reported on the 2,736-square-foot Tudor-style home which he purchased for former girlfriend - and mother of Farrell's one-year-old son Henry Tadeusz - Alicja Bachleda.

It explored the house, noting some of its key selling points, which include a picturesque living room, a homely kitchen featuring dark wood cabinetry and a luxurious master bedroom.

"These tall ceilings, tall windows and handmade hardwood floors are calling out to us. We hope she moves in before the holidays so she can enjoy that fireplace," said the publication.

It went on to highlight the colour scheme of the bathroom, which makes use of "cool" blues and a "charming pedestal sink".

This follows a report from freep.com about a range of properties in Michigan which were subject to restorations, which include the installation of wood flooring.
