Wood flooring 'can be easily implemented into green lifestyle'
Wood flooring has been billed as a product which can easily be used to complement an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.
In a recent Emagazine article, columnist Brita Belli noted that many families who are concerned about the chemical content in their flooring materials are increasingly seeking out greener alternatives.
She praised the aesthetic benefits of wood floors and set out a number of ways in which it can be used to make a home more environmentally-friendly.
"The stunning look of hardwood floors is here to stay, and can be easily implemented into a green lifestyle," Ms Belli said.
She went on to note that eco-flooring is becoming an increasingly popular trend and pointed to a number of US firms which provide reclaimed wood floors from a number of unique sources.
This comes after a recent Daily Reporter article hailed sustainable wood flooring as a trend which has "truly taken off" among homeowners seeking to improve their green credentials.
