Wood flooring adds 'country' feel to eatery
Wood flooring has been credited with imbuing one eatery with a rustic feel.
In a recent article for Northside, columnist Jane Southward reviewed the Burnt Orange restaurant in Mosman and hailed its interior decor.
"It feels like we are dining in a country homestead, with its wooden floors and simple wooden tables surrounded by pink and white wooden chairs," she said.
Ms Southward went on to note the eatery has just finished an extensive renovation project, which also saw a gift shop open on the Headland Park site at Mosman.
She claimed their close distance is designed to encourage diners to take a stroll in the retailer during courses or after lunch.
Ms Southward also reserved praise for the salmon cakes and the restaurant's expansive dessert menu.
Earlier in the month, Latest Gadgets columnist Gabrielle Pickard claimed there is "something tasteful" about the use of wood flooring in a property.
