'Warm' wood flooring used in concept bathroom
Wood flooring has been used to add a feeling of warmth to a concept bathroom.
An International Business Times guide to creating a calming washroom noted it is easy for homeowners to "disregard the power" of this area to "calm and centre" them.
It claimed that with the right decorations, it is possible for a bathroom to reduce stress and gave the example of a white washroom that features "warm wood flooring".
The guide went on to highlight another angle of interior design, in the form of a French-style room - decked out with porcelain and gauzy curtains.
It noted how its decor offers an "Asian twist" on the traditional style, pointing towards details such as French doors add a unique aesthetic.
The LA Times recently reported on the home of drummer Max Weinberg, which boasts wood flooring in its bathroom and is currently on sale for nearly $3 million (£1.85 million).
