US wood flooring company features on TV series

A wood flooring manufacturing company in the US has been filmed as part of a TV series.

Hardwood Floors magazine, the official publication of the National Wood Flooring Association, reports that the Homerwood Hardwood Flooring Company has been included in ABC's Made in America show.

The series set out to help US consumers identify products which have been created by American firms.

Its website features a list of manufacturers all over the US, with ABC also offering the chance for the public to submit their companies over the internet.

Commenting on her company's inclusion, HomerWood marketing manager Wendy Wescoat claimed the show would give consumers the opportunity to examine its wood flooring.

"The HomerWood call-out on ABC's website is exciting, because it serves as a resource for those consumers looking for truly American-made items," she said.

The Statesville Record & Landmark recently reported on the use of US-made wood flooring in the city hall of the town.
