Solid wood flooring features in new housing development
Solid wood floors are to be offered to residents at a new family-centric housing development.
Writing in the Calgary Herald, columnist Kathy McCormick examined the latest offering from Hawthorne Homes.
She examined the two different townhouse-style showcase homes and noted the range of models and features available.
Every home in the new development features a "spacious open-concept design" and buyers can choose a three-bedroom layout, with a single master bedroom, or a dual master bedroom layout.
A range of interior features are available for buyers, including a number of flooring options.
"[There are] three distinctive colour schemes with additional choices in each package, plus upgraded options such as quartz countertops and hardwood, cork or laminate flooring," said Ms McCormick.
Earlier in the month, it was revealed that Grosvenor America's Drake housing project will be making use of engineered wood flooring in its high-rise apartments, also set to be located in Calgary.
