Hardwood flooring fitted in luxury homes
Hardwood flooring is a central feature of a new development of luxury homes in north London.
Developer Harrison Varma has transformed the 93-year-old Wellgarth Manor in to four properties, as well as building two new homes in the grounds, reports Country Life.
The homes at the Hampstead Garden Suburb development are priced at between £3.75 million and £6.5 million, with the emphasis very much on luxury.
Hardwood flooring has been fitted in all the formal reception rooms to help create the high-end finish needed to attract buyers with the right budget.
Simon Barry of estate agent Knight Frank said potential buyers would find homes with a combination of light, open interior spaces and hi-tech gadgets.
"You will find only the best possible materials and highest standards of workmanship," he added.
Hardwood flooring is often used by developers for high-end projects, as it looks stylish, can match a wide range of colour schemes and is also very durable.
