'Get the natural look' with wood flooring

Wood flooring could help homeowners to imbue their property with a natural look.

In a recent Gulf News article, editor of InsideOut Annie Cudmore hailed the material as a valuable addition to simplistic decor.

"Get the natural look with wooden floors and furniture, simple clean shapes, naturalistic wall coverings and accessorise with porcelain and crystal," she said.

Ms Cudmore offered a range of tips on what furnishings and other items can add to this type of style and recommended Dazzle plates by Crate and Barrel, in addition to Heritage glasses from Baccarat.

She also highlighted the interior design benefits of the Hortense chair and Syntaxe table from Roche Bobois, in addition to the company's Architecte sellete.

This comes after Commercial Appeal reported on the new home of one Memphis couple, whose naturally-lit property was promoted for its large kitchen, "ample" storage space and wood flooring.
