Use laminate flooring to 'transform a home'

Laminate flooring can have a profound effect on the decor of a home, it has been claimed.

Writing for About My Area, columnist Andreas Loppas claimed that those considering a kitchen refurbishment face a number of choices when it comes to flooring materials.

"Gone are the days when simple lino will suffice - the homeowner may want a laminate flooring, hard wood or perhaps stone," he said.

Mr Loppas went on to state that individual preference has a large role to play in the choice and also pointed out the range of options available for wall coverings.

He added that by using innovative design features, specialists in kitchen refurbishment can get a lot more space out of the area.

Earlier in the month, StarPhoenix columnist Cassandra Kyle reported that many buyers often opt for homes which have undergone recent improvements and gave the example of new flooring or kitchen renovations.
