QuickStep flooring draws praise
QuickStep's laminate flooring has been flagged up as a good option for people who want to do up their homes without harming the environment.
According to US-based firm Express Flooring, laminate flooring is very easy to install and flexible, as it can be detached and used in another room if desired.
However, it also has minimal environmental impact, as the material is renewable and can be recycled.
Express highlighted QuickStep Flooring's laminate floors as some of the greenest currently on the market.
This is because almost three-quarters of its laminate boards are made from post-industrial wood waste.
"And not one exotic tree is harvested from the rainforest to create their beautiful exotic laminate floors," Express commented.
The company added that laminates from QuickStep Flooring are highly resistant to heat, moisture and indentation.
This comes after interior designer Kelly Porter told the Washington Post that laminate flooring could be a good design option for a home-based office.
