Laminate flooring praised in kitchen renovation guide

Laminate flooring has received praise in a new guide for homeowners seeking to renovate their kitchens.

The My Online Reviews guide to home improvement plans in this area states that a homeowner's key concern should be balancing the functionality and comfort in the kitchen.

High up on its list of desirable features for such rooms is a quality choice of flooring.

"Stone flooring is quite dear and difficult to lay but a quality [laminate flooring] will give very similar results whilst being easy to lay and affordable to most homeowners," said the guide.

It went on to state that laminate floors also offer an "excellent" variety of styles and colours.

Similar sentiments were recently expressed in a recent article by Gaurav Saraf of the Deccan Herald.

He claimed that laminate flooring is ideal for renovators on a budget, due to the aesthetic benefits it provides, coupled with its typically lower price range.
