Laminate flooring 'needs only periodic dusting'

Laminate flooring could be a good option for people looking to install a new floor that will be easy to keep clean.

According to Mike McClintock of the Chicago Tribune, laminate flooring only needs to be dusted every so often to keep it looking good.

He added that the best laminate flooring is resistant to dents and stains, as well as moisture, so there is no need to worry about spillages.

Mr McClintock explained that laminate flooring is a versatile choice for a householder.

"They can be installed over almost any existing floor, as long as it's solid, including ceramic tile, vinyl and wood," he commented.

He compared installing laminate flooring to a jigsaw puzzle, stating that homeowners who wish to fit the floor themselves must plan out the project to keep track of the bigger picture.

Laminate flooring was recently chosen to be installed at a church in East Anglia which was undergoing refurbishments, the Norfolk Advertiser reports.
