Laminate flooring 'made to be durable'

People who choose laminate flooring do not have to worry too much about it getting damaged, one commentator has said.

Shawne Patrick of Article Highway said that while this may be a concern with other types of surfaces, laminate flooring is specially treated to make it more durable, meaning it could be ideal for areas with heavy foot traffic.

He pointed out that laminate flooring is finished with a top layer that helps to repel stains, so spillages will not be the end of the world, while the same property will also help to prevent the floor from getting scratched.

Not only this, but laminate flooring is also more likely to withstand the daily wear and tear that comes with young children than hardwood, Mr Patrick said.

He concluded: "Though other kinds of flooring can work for families, this is one good option that is totally worth considering, especially since it generally is not very expensive."

According to BizAcumen's recent study, more homeowners are likely to choose laminate flooring over the coming months due to its low price in comparison with its market rivals.ADNFCR-2810-ID-19581699-ADNFCR
