Laminate flooring 'is very low maintenance'

Laminate flooring could be a good option for homeowners who do not have much time on their hands as it is low maintenance, it has been stated.

According to Jean Parker of Article Biz, laminate flooring is a "better quality" selection than some other floor materials.

"It cleans very easy and is very low maintenance," she commented.

"That is one of the things that make it so popular."

Ms Parker added that laminate flooring "can look really nice".

She said choosing the right flooring could also be a way for a homeowner to improve the value of their house, which could potentially make it easier to sell in the future if they decided to move.

Ms Parker added she believes spending more on the project will suit the homeowner in the long run.

Laminate flooring has recently been installed in a development of apartments in Canada.

The properties at the Encore at Equinox tower have been installed with laminate flooring to achieve a contemporary finish, reports the National Post.
