Laminate flooring is 'a popular choice for kitchens'

Laminate flooring has been named as a good option for those seeking to renovate their kitchens.

Writing for the St Joseph News-Press, columnist Jennifer Gordon spoke about the suitability of the material in the area.

"With high-quality graphics, laminate is also a popular choice, though quality products come with a price. Although tile and carpet can work with almost every budget option, cheap laminate [won't]," she said.

Ms Gordon also noted that laminate flooring can be a worthy investment for those with children or pets due to its durability.

However, for consumers whose home does not receive a lot of floor traffic, Ms Gordon claimed that cheaper laminate flooring can be a suitable choice.

It claimed that given the amount of suitable floor coverings available to consumers, individual preference must factor in to the choice of material.
