Laminate flooring installed at visitors centre
Laminate flooring has been installed as part of a facelift at a visitors centre in the US in an attempt to get more people through its doors.
The Natchez Trace Visitors Centre, which is 25 years old, has had the laminate flooring fitted as part of renovation work, reports the Star-Herald.
Also included in the work was the installation of granite countertops in the toilets of the building, while lighting has been replaced and the walls given a new lick of paint.
One section of the centre now features photographs of famous people from the region, such as Oprah Winfrey and blues singer Charlie Musselwhite.
Volunteer worker Jean Atwood said that she thinks the renovation work has made the centre a more attractive place for visitors.
This comes after laminate flooring was chosen to offer a store in the UK a modern feel, reports Pet Product Marketing.
Maidenhead Aquatics, which is located in the Garden Park retail complex in Peterborough, features laminate flooring throughout the interior of the building.
