Laminate flooring ideal for cleaning up spills

Cleaning up spills is easy if you install a laminate floor in your home.

That is the opinion of Shawne Patrick of Community Articles, who said laminate flooring is simple to scrub clean.

Laminate flooring can deal with all manner of spills including food and water and would even be impermeable if a wet, dirty dog walked all over it.

He said: "For the resulting muddy paw prints all over your laminated floors, a fast swipe with the mop takes care of things."

Mr Patrick added that laminate flooring was even suitable for a bathroom as it would not be affected by having large amounts of water on it, for instance if someone was to leave the bath running and forget about it.

Laminate flooring is a good option for homeowners looking to install a wood floor on a budget.

Sarah Adwalpalkar said in an article for Express Buzz that laminate flooring could be a very convincing faux wood.
