Laminate flooring features in newly-renovated Arizonan property
Laminate flooring is a prime feature of a newly-revamped Arizona house.
Writing for the Arizona Daily Star, columnist Gillian Drummond reported on Nanette and Tom Slussler, who faced a range of setbacks during the course of the renovation of their home.
Mr Slussler, who works in construction, claimed he had dealt with no property like it as he endeavoured to fix the house's wealth of problems, including uneven floors, sloping walls and a number of rooms which had been added on.
The Slusslers remodelling plan was based on keeping the property's old-fashioned interior and Ms Drummond noted how well modern furnishings fit with the 1900s feel.
"Laminate flooring, mosaic backsplashes, walk-in showers and soothing paint in chocolate, sage and beige sit happily with more traditional touches like wooden pillars, country-style [and] white cabinetry," she said.
Her comments follow praise for laminate flooring in a recent My Online Reviews guide, which promoted the material in the kitchen.
