Laminate flooring features in contemporary apartments

Laminate flooring has been chosen for a development of apartments in Canada.

Properties at the Encore at Equinox tower feature the laminate flooring, as well as granite countertops in order to achieve a contemporary finish, reports the National Post.

First-time buyers are the target market for the homes, which include stainless steel appliances and low-flow showerheads and bathroom taps to save money on energy bills.

Buyers will also have access to a 24-hour concierge service, a theatre and a fitness centre within the building.

There are a range of properties available in the tower block, from studio flats to two-bedroom apartments.

The Encore at Equinox building is the latest development in Canada to select laminate flooring in an attempt to attract buyers after it was also installed at a tower of condos in Toronto.

Homes at the 530 St Clair Avenue West Condominiums development feature laminate flooring throughout the living and dining areas, reports the Toronto Star.
