Laminate flooring features in Canada condos

Canadian developers have chosen laminate flooring for a tower of condos in Toronto.

The laminate flooring features in the dining and living areas of the properties, reports the Toronto Star.

All 155 suites have high-end kitchens with stainless steel appliances, for which buyers can choose the flooring material.

Properties also include terraces and balconies, while indoor parking and concierge services will be available.

The 530 St Clair Avenue West Condominiums development is part of wider plans to develop the area.

Larry Blankenstein, president of Lash Development, who worked on the site, said the new building added "credibility" to the proposals.

"We're on the cusp of revitalising the whole St Clair West neighbourhood. 500 is basically the first building," he commented.

Laminate flooring also features in student accommodation at West Georgia University, showing the versatility of the product.

It helped apartments at Campus Commons to be recommended by student newspaper the West Georgian as a place for students to live.
