The house, located in Walbridge's Woodcreek Village, includes the laminate flooring as one of its standout features and is available for a bargain price of just $50,000 (£32,000).

Situated in an active neighbourhood with a clubhouse for homeowners to enjoy, the house is ideal for adults who enjoy social gatherings.

The Toledo Blade reports that the laminate flooring featured in the kitchen of the home could easily be mistaken for a more expensive solid wood floor, such is its quality.

Also included in the three-bedroom house are new blinds, curtains and oak cabinets.

Laminate flooring has also been chosen for a new family home in the US.

Travis and Kerry White and their five children lost their home when it was damaged by fire last year but after the local community chipped in with donations and free labour, they have moved into their new home, reports the Recorder and Times.
