Laminate flooring 'can be laid on stairways'

Laminate flooring can be installed on a stairway, it has been stated.

According to the Home Makeover Diva, it is simple enough to fit laminate flooring on stairs as each manufacturer will be able to provide advice on how to do it.

She stated that the main difference between installing laminate flooring on stairs rather than in a room is that it needs to be glued down.

The Home Makeover Diva added that most manufacturers of laminate flooring will be able to recommend an adhesive to carry out this process.

Laminate flooring can usually be fitted on top of existing floor materials as a floating floor, but this cannot be done on stairs.

No underlay or foam pad will be able to be used on the stairs, she added, so if the laminate flooring is supplied with those parts already attached, they will need to be peeled off.

The Home Makeover Diva previously stated that installing laminate flooring could be one way to make a house more attractive to potential buyers.ADNFCR-2810-ID-19683823-ADNFCR
