Laminate flooring benefits children at learning centre
Laminate flooring has been fitted at a learning centre in the US.
Heritage House Childcare & Learning Center chose the laminate flooring for all of the classrooms and hallways in the building.
According to Mary Ellen Carlson, director of Heritage House, the laminate flooring has helped to save the staff time when cleaning the property.
Speaking to the Post-Journal, she said: "It has also given our children a comfortable and clean area to play and learn."
The centre was able to fit the laminate flooring after support from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation and Life Line Homes.
Individual donors contributed, while funds that were raised at the annual Charity Auction and Dinner Event were also put towards the new floor.
The centre is the latest building to select laminate flooring.
Property buyers at a new development of apartments in Toronto will be given the choice between solid wood flooring and laminates for their flat, reports the National Post.
