Laminate floor-cleaning robot to come to Europe
People with laminate flooring could soon be able to say goodbye to spending time cleaning their floors after a new robot was launched in Europe.
The Navibot from Samsung is able to learn the layout of a room via a camera incorporated into its body.
So once it has been programmed and cleaned a room, a homeowner can leave the robot to clean their laminate flooring whenever they wish.
The robot is even clever enough to recharge itself when it is low on power, so there is no chance of it getting stranded in the middle of a cleaning mission.
It can be programmed to automatically clean laminate flooring at a certain time, so a homeowner can set it to clean the floor while they are at work and come back to a sparkling finish.
This comes after Evolution Robotics launched the Mint Cleaning robot which is capable of mopping or dusting solid wood flooring.
