Expert praises the virtues of laminate flooring

Laminate flooring has been hailed as a great option for homeowners by one expert.

Speaking to the Calgary Herald, Darrell Jones, the manager of Floors on Crowfoot, claimed that, while wood flooring tends to add more value to a home, laminate floors also have their advantages.

He highlighted their ease of installation, noting that most sets are now fitted using a click-together system.

Mr Jones went on to promote the durability of laminate floors - noting that their high-heat construction makes them significantly more durable than hardwood.

He pointed out that the range of laminate flooring products has also expanded in recent years - with homeowners now having more styles and features to choose from than ever before.

Earlier in the week, Steve Maxwell of Yourhome.ca urged homeowners to pick a complementary colour when they opt for laminate floors - noting that this can have a big impact on the aesthetic of a home.
