Bamboo laminate flooring 'is realistic'

Bamboo laminate flooring offers a realistic look in a home, it has been stated.

Independent home improvement and repair website DoItYourself.com advises that laminate flooring can be a more durable choice than bamboo itself.

The website states that the laminate floors they feature a high-definition image of bamboo under the top layer of the planks.

Laminate flooring's price also made it a good selection, the website said.

"It is going to be less expensive than bamboo in most cases and the installation is a lot less expensive if you have it installed," it explained.

The website claims laminate flooring is actually harder than bamboo as it is compressed together tightly, meaning homeowners do not need to be as careful with it.

Laminate flooring is a standout feature of an affordable home which is for sale in the US.

The house, located in Walbridge's Woodcreek Village, is available for just $50,000 (£32,000), reports the Toledo Blade.
