Available home features laminate flooring

Laminate flooring is a stand-out feature of a home for sale in the US.

The one-storey San Antonio property has the laminate flooring installed in the master bedroom.

Owner Judy Rogers is selling the house as she and her husband Vernon, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, need to move closer to their children.

Speaking to the Express-News, she commented: "Because of my husband's illness, we enlarged some of the doors to accommodate a wheelchair and also put in ramps."

Along with the main house, the property also features a one-bedroom apartment, which also includes two bathrooms and a small kitchen.

Ms Rogers said the only reason the property, which has been available to buy since May 2009, is still on the market is its private location.

The Rogers's home is the latest in the US which features laminate flooring to be listed on the market.

A Federal townhouse in Montgomery Village which is for sale has laminate flooring installed, reports the Gazette.
