Laminate flooring is one of the stand-out features of an apartment which is for sale in Ireland.

The property in An Luasan, located close to The Clayton Hotel and Briarhill Shopping Centre, has laminate flooring installed in its lounge, reports the Galway Advertiser.

It is just ten years since the small development of homes was built by Marcon Construction.

The apartment is described as "quality accommodation" and "good value for money" by the newspaper.

Laminate flooring has also been installed at a visitors centre in the US to try and help boost the popularity of the facility.

The 25-year-old Natchez Trace Visitors Centre fitted the laminate flooring as part of renovation work, reports the Star-Herald.
