He suggests ordering a small area of laminate flooring in a wide variety of colours and styles and temporarily placing it in the new area of the home and leaving it for around a week.
This, he suggests, will give the homeowner the real choice of whether or not a particular colour or style is suitable and it is something that can be lived with on a permanent basis.
It also gives indications of its durability and strength against general household wear and tear which may factor in any decision making process when buying laminate flooring.
