Tackling grease on a granite floor

In recent times, granite flooring has become a classy option for kitchens. However, like many other floor coverings used in kitchens, the appearance of granite can, overtime, become affected by a build-up of grease.

Luckily this build-up of kitchen grease can be easily cleared away; just follow this method:

Step 1 - Take a plastic bucket and fill with a gallon of warm water, then add a quarter of cup of washing up liquid.

Step 2 - Soak a cleaning mop in the newly create solution. Wring out the mop a couple of times before cleaning.

Step 3 - Apply the mop to the surface and wipe over; this method will see that the grease is collected as you mop.

Step 4 - When you feel necessary, re-soak the mop in the solution before repeating step 3 again.

Step 5 - Clean the bucket and add fresh warm water and continue mopping - this time using just water. This will see any lingering soap suds absorbed by the mop.

Step 6 - Once completed dry the floor with a clean mop.
