Ceramic flooring tiles need regular cleaning - in order for them to remain looking at their very best. There are a number of methods which you can use, each of which provide varying results. We've detailed just a few of these methods below:
Sweeping & Vacuuming: Cleaning methods that will only remove dust and dirt from the surface. Sweeping and vacuuming should be carried out at least once a week.
Steam Cleaning: Steam cleaners offer the best possible way of removing those tough stains from ceramic flooring tiles. Produced at a high temperature, the steam can get deep inside the grout and remove any previously inaccessible dirt or dust that has accumulated over time.
Although a steam cleaner can be expensive to hire, it shouldn't be discounted - it provides ceramic tiles with the most comprehensive cleansing available.
Harsh Cleaners - Avoid!: When cleaning, many will automatically go for the most abrasive cleaning product in the cupboard. However, when cleaning ceramic flooring tiles, harsh cleaners should be avoided. For example, substances such as bleach and ammonia, should be kept well clear as they can cause the surface to become discoloured.
