Easy home cleaning methods to rid your laminate flooring of white marks

Although laminate flooring can look fantastic, over time its high quality finish can become somewhat diminished by white marks and streaking.

Water spots or a build up of cleaning products on the floor's surface can lead to the appearance of these streaks and marks.

However, there are a number of simple methods that can bring the laminate floor back to its original finish.

Here are just two:

Method 1: Take 2 tablespoons of baking soda and mix in several drops of warm water to create a paste. Then using a clean cloth, work the paste into the white mark. When the mark has gone, take a damp cloth and wipe the area clean.

Method 2: Take a clean, dry paper towel and spray on a very small amount of silicone spray. Using the towel, scrub the white mark very lightly. To remove any excess silicone spray, mix 50 per cent white vinegar with 50 per cent warm water and apply to a cloth – just enough to dampen – then set about wiping the area clean.
