Known as one of the most important events on the flooring industry calendar, trade fair DOMOTEX will debut a wooden flooring summit for its 2012 edition, according to an article featured on hardwoodfloorsmag.com.
The summit section of the fair will be dedicated solely to wood and laminate floor coverings. Special displays, educational talks and discussions from a panel of industry experts are just some of the common activities that will take place as part of the event.
Meanwhile a campus area will play host to universities, researchers, professionals and trade associations as they make presentations and predictions regarding topical issues, future trends and developments within the wood flooring industry.
Held on an annual basis in Hannover, Germany, the DOMOTEX show is a popular attraction and a large driver of sale increases; this year's (2011) edition attracted 37,900 people – with around 63 per cent of those visiting from outside of Germany.
