Laminate flooring installation can be difficult at the best of times - especially if you're an amateur DIYer - however, the difficulty only multiplies when you have to work around a pipe.
So with this in mind, we've produced an easy-to-follow, three step guide on how you can cut your wood flooring to accommodate a pipe:
Step 1 - Firstly, measure the pipe's diameter using a tailor's tape - wrapping it around each pipe before noting down the measurement.
Step 2 - When the pipe can removed, the process becomes much simpler. Simply take a wrench and loosen the bolt keeping the pipe in position. The pipe can then be removed - to do this gently lift and maneuver away from the system.
Step 3 - Take the measurement gained from step 1, determine where you need the hole for the pipe to be, then drill a hole slightly larger - giving the pipe some extra space to slot in to place.
Once complete, simply slide or slot the flooring plank into place.
