Tour home boasts expansive wood flooring
A home which features on an annual tour route has had its wood flooring examined in a new article.
Writing for Commercial News, columnist Mary Sweikar explored the house of Ed and Brender Dwiggins on Logan Avenue, Danville.
The Dwiggins will be opening up their home as part of this year's Holiday Tour of Homes event.
Ms Sweikar took a look around the property and praised the range of antique furnishings in this 1923 Tudor Revival house.
"This elegantly appointed home includes some of the original features, including hardwood floors, a balustrade open staircase [and] a formal wood-burning fireplace in the living room," she said.
Ms Sweikar went on to note that the property was occupied for a short time by famous local man Jerry Van Dyke.
In a recent Yourhome.ca article, the wood flooring of a Canadian condominium was listed as one of its prime features, along with high ceilings and marble floors in the bathroom.
