'Stylish' loft features wood flooring

Wood flooring has been noted as a key feature of a "stylish" loft apartment in the US.

Boston Herald columnist Paul Restuccia examined the property, which is currently on sale for just over $1 million (£600,000)

He examined the range of features on show at the apartment, making particular note of its private roof deck, skylights and a "huge" living room which also doubles as a dining area.

Formerly the home of an internet start-up business which eventually went bust, the property was renovated by Pizzuti Development, which made some notable improvements.

"The firm retained some of the three structures' original industrial looks, but added wood floors, polished-granite kitchens/bathrooms and maple kitchen cabinets to all units," said Mr Restuccia.

Earlier in the month, the Montreal Gazette reported on the Longueuil property, pointing out key features in the semi-detached cottage - which include wood flooring, electric heating and a powder room.
