NWFA launches new wood flooring website
US trade organisation the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) has announced the launch of its redesigned website.
Its new webpage features a range of updated content, improved navigation and a variety of pictures showcasing some of the work of NWFA members.
"The site helps educate consumers about the many benefits of wood flooring - its beauty, style, durability, value and environmental benefits," said the organisation.
In addition, the website will also exhibit a number of photographs detailing the various styles, species and finish of each type of wood flooring.
To help homeowners considering installing wood floors in their home, the NWFA has incorporated the Design-a-Room feature, which gives consumers a preview of how different wood floors will look in their property.
It also provides listings for professionals around the US and similar searches can be conducted to locate certain products.
The new website could be particularly popular after Newsday columnist Gigi Berman Aharoni highlighted the way in which wood floors add value to a property.
