Greg Wise 'loves DIY projects'
British actor Greg Wise has told of his love for DIY projects, stating that carrying out home improvements would be part of his perfect weekend.
The star - who is married to Oscar-winning actress Emma Thompson - said he particularly loves woodworking and has built a tree house.
"I have a huge barn full of woodworking tools," Wise told the Daily Telegraph. "I love working with my hands. I basically just make myself bleed at lot. Im very accident-prone."
He added that he has built a tree house for daughter Gaia to play in, as well as putting together a bar for when the couple are entertaining guests.
The actor perhaps best-known for his work in period dramas such as Madame Bovary, The Moonstone and Cranford for the BBC, as well as the role of John Willoughby in the film Sense and Sensibility.
He recently appeared in Morris: A Life With Bells On alongside actors such as Sir Derek Jacobi and Harriet Walter.
