Chorley residents to get home improvements

Home improvements are to be carried out in around 400 homes in Chorley, with householders set to receive new bathrooms and kitchens under the plans.

Chorley Community Housing is carrying out a £4 million refurbishment of the properties, which are located on the Chorley Moor estate, reports the Chorley Citizen.

Tenants in the properties will be able to look over the proposals for the home improvement projects in more detail at a pair of coffee mornings.

Residents can meet at Community House on Liptrott Road on the mornings of May 24th and May 28th 2010 to examine the plans for themselves.

The home improvements are set to be carried out this summer, so tenants on the Chorley Moor estate will have brand new kitchens and bathrooms in time for Christmas.

This comes after Mark Huffman of ConsumerAffairs.com stated that the most important part of any major home improvement project is the planning stage.
