Building shed 'can hide clutter for home improvers'

People who are looking to carry out home improvements but are worried about having enough space in their property could find building a shed in their garden to be a solution.

Ronseal stated that a shed could be the perfect way to store the clutter that can otherwise collect around a garden.

According to a spokeswoman for Ronseal, a shed can also be a great place to store clutter and get it out of the house.

She said: "Alternatively, invest in a couple of deep hinged storage boxes, which are a versatile solution, and can also be used as seating."

The spokeswoman added that home improvers should choose timber furniture for the garden as plastic can sometimes look unsightly.

She was speaking following research from comparison site Gocompare.com, which found that Britons are set to spend a collective £6.8 billion on equipment for their gardens this summer.

The website found that three-quarters are planning to carry out some form of improvements in their gardens.
