Pergo flooring installed in home improvement project

Pergo flooring has been installed by a couple seeking to make their home more comfortable for visiting relatives.

Judi Mardo told NorthJersey.com that her husband and herself had embarked on their home renovation project so there was room for their five grandchildren and other relations to stay overnight.

The work saw the pair transform their attic into a new guest bedroom.

Once that job had been completed, the Mardos turned their attention to the rest of the house.

In their sitting room and guest bedroom, they decided to get rid of their old vinyl floor tiles and replace it with oak-finished Pergo flooring.

Earlier this week, a luxury property went on sale in Boston for $429,900 (£264,335) after a new kitchen was added.

The updates to the room included Pergo flooring, 21 maple cabinets and oatmeal-coloured granite countertops, the Boston Herald reported.

Restored hardwood flooring was also added throughout the rest of the home.
