Engineered wood flooring 'can last for 60 years'

Engineered wood flooring could be a good choice for homeowners who wish to keep the same type of floor covering for many years.
This is because it is durable and can be refinished as many as five times, which means it could last up to 60 years, according to the Chester Standard.
"Furthermore, all of the glues that professional companies use for your wooden flooring are water-based so that there are no toxic or harmful fumes permeating your home or office," the news provider stated.
According to the article, engineered wood flooring only needs to be sanded about every 12 years.
Fitting an engineered wood floor could be a way to give something back to a home, the newspaper stated, adding that the finished look is "stunning".
This comes after flooring expert Michel Collin said there is less risk of swelling with engineered wood flooring because of the way it is put together, reports the Niagara Falls Review.
